Encouragement

Ah friends, I have been too long absent from the blogging world and it's not going to get better any time soon. Today is Day 1 of Summer Break (otherwise known as my long descent into the Ninth Circle--err, I mean that wonderful time of year when I get Quality Time with the four kiddos) which means my computer time will be even more limited.

Since my time is limited and I only have so many words in me each day, blogging through the summer will be spotty. I'm doing the final edits on my novel (YAY!! It's almost finished!!) which I plan to start sending out to agents at the end of summer, so I must save the few words I have for my Great American Novel. After all, A LOT of my words go to the kiddos in this form: "STOP JUMPING ON THE COUCH!" "DON'T HIT YOUR BROTHER!!" "WHAT DOES GRACE HAVE IN HER MOUTH??" "WHY IS SHE EATING MULCH??" I'm a quiet person. I'm sure you can see how that eats into my allotted words for the day.

I promise I will pop in and post when I can. Mostly, to share tidbits like this from The Rejectionist. Read it. If you're a writer, you need this encouragement. If you're not a writer, you need this encouragement.
